Sealing sanitary fixtures

Immune to humidity

Does not mold or yellow

Resistant to UV rays and abrasion

GEB brand Gebsicone W sanitary silicone sealant - acetic acid - is designed for elastic sealing joints around sanitary fixtures: sinks, basins, shower trays, bathtubs, kitchen sinks, laboratory benches, and any area where humidity could promote mold growth.

The presence of an effective fungicide prevents the development of black stains that give the seal a "dirty" appearance. It offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces, particularly glass, enamel, and porcelain.

This sealant is resistant to aging, even in hot and humid environments, and is also resistant to boiling water, laundry detergent, and household cleaning products. It does not yellow over time.

IMPORTANT: This product is not suitable for applications on synthetic, acrylic, or composite materials, or on natural stone (marble and granite, after testing). Use GEBSICONE W2. Do not use in aquariums (fungicides are dangerous for fish). Not paintable.

Information on some characteristics:

Elongation at break: This is the sealant's ability to elongate before breaking when pulled on the substrate. This data is used to determine whether the sealant will be able to expand sufficiently under stress.

Shore A hardness: This is the sealant's hardness after drying. The harder the sealant, the less elastic it will be, but the more resistant it will be to pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

Service temperature: This is the temperature range within which the sealant will retain all its properties. The extreme temperatures within this range are given for newly installed sealant. The impact of aging should be taken into account by gradually lowering these extreme temperatures.
