Water filter system AQUAPHOR Crystal HA

AQUAPHOR Crystal HA is a softening carbon filter for municipally treated water with visible particles such as sand, rust, silt and high residual turbidity.

The first K5 polypropylene cartridge retains particles down to 5 microns and extends the life of the K7 cartridge, which filters particles down to 0.8 microns.

The K7 carbon cartridge is an example of CarbFiber Block technology, a replaceable cartridge consisting of finely divided activated coconut shell carbon combined with a patented Aquaphor microfiber absorbent and ion exchange microfiber. The dense structure of the CarbFiber blocks allows the K7 cartridges to effectively remove active chlorine, heavy metals such as lead, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, microplastics and many other contaminants found in municipal water supplies.

The KH softening cartridge contains ion exchange resin and can be regenerated several times using salt. We recommend using softening sorption filters if the water is moderately hard (limestone appears within 10-14 days). If the water is highly mineralized, the best solution is an RO filter.

The cartridges should be replaced at least once a year, but in case of an emergency, if there is an emergency leak in the water supply system, they should be replaced earlier. The first cartridge should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on the turbidity of the water.
