GEB brand Gebsicone W sanitary silicone sealant - acetic acid - is designed for flexible sealing of joints around sanitary fittings: washbasins, shower trays, bathtubs, kitchen sinks, laboratory worktops and any areas where moisture could promote mold growth.

The presence of an effective fungicide prevents the formation of black stains that give the sealant a "dirty" appearance. It provides excellent adhesion to most surfaces, especially glass, enamel and porcelain.

This sealant is resistant to aging even in hot and humid environments, as well as resistant to boiling water, laundry detergent and household cleaning agents. It does not yellow over time.

IMPORTANT: This product is not suitable for use on synthetic, acrylic or composite materials, as well as on natural stone (marble and granite, after testing). Use GEBSICONE W2. Do not use in aquariums (fungicides are dangerous for fish). Not paintable.

Intended use:

Elastic sealing around sanitary installations: washbasins, shower trays, bathtubs, kitchen sinks, laboratory benches and any other areas where moisture could promote the growth of mould.

Indications:

Resistant to ageing even in hot and humid environments, as well as resistant to laundry detergents and household cleaners.

Excellent adhesion to glass, enamel and porcelain.

Surfaces to avoid:

When using on synthetic, acrylic or composite materials or on natural stone (marble and granite, after testing), use GEBSICONE W2.

Do not use in aquariums (fungicides are dangerous to fish).

Information on some properties:

Elongation at break: this is the ability of the sealant to stretch before breaking when pulled on the substrate. This data is used to determine whether the sealant will be able to expand sufficiently under load.

Shore A hardness: this is the hardness of the sealant after drying. The harder the sealant, the less flexible it will be, but the more resistant it will be to foot or vehicle traffic.

Working temperature: this is the temperature range in which the sealant retains all its properties. The express temperatures in this range are given for a new sealant. The effects of ageing must be taken into account by gradually reducing these extreme temperatures.

Flexible sealing around sanitary fixtures (sinks, bathtubs, showers, washbasins, etc.) in areas with high humidity.

Use:

Sealant for sealing joints and joints.

Instructions:

Apply to a clean, dry surface. Follow the instructions on the product label.
